The “Elementary” group is for students entering 4th and 5th grade (and a few elite 3rd graders) in Fall 2017. The program is geared toward that age of student (so it will be fun, and filled with logic games, puzzles, math magic, etc!), but will also prepare them for the type of thinking and problem solving they’ll need in middle school math contests.
The “Intro” middle school group is for students entering 6th grade (and a few elite 5th graders). It’s focused on the major concepts of middle school math competitions (algebra, geometry, counting and probability, number theory, patterns, statistics).
The “Advanced” group is for middle and early high school students who have at least a year of MathCounts experience already. We will be tackling some very hard problems (from State and National MathCounts contests, as well as AMC10 contests), so this session is not for the faint of heart.
To register for the Summer 2017 sessions, first please email me (Matt Bixby, at firstname.lastname@example.org) to confirm that there are still spots available for the session you’d like to attend. Then, once I’ve responded, mail a check for the full amount of payment to:
